Featured_Road To VegasTwo 18 & Over Open Division tennis teams will represent the USTA Florida Section in Las Vegas after winning the “Road to Las Vegas” USTA Florida League Sectional Championships on July 8-10, 2016 at the Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach.

The new one-weekend sectionals event for open division teams offers men’s and women’s squads, without having to play a local league, the chance to win sectionals and advance to the USTA League National Open League Championships.

“The Road to Vegas tournament this weekend made me miss playing college tennis more than ever,” said winning women’s Team Starburst captain Adelaide Wood. “The competition was great, the intensity was high and the camaraderie was what made this such a special event. To be part of a team again and compete on the court next to friends was fantastic! The tournament staff did an incredible job at making everyone feel so welcome and made the event run so smoothly. I’m beyond proud of my team this weekend and can’t wait to see what we can do in Vegas in a few months! Go Team Starburst!”
