USTA Florida has partnered with select public parks across the state to train and employ new and diverse tennis coaches to deliver a broad range of community tennis programs.  From Cardio tennis to adaptive and adult beginner programs, each experience is built to fit the community needs and prepare you to deliver the sport of a lifetime!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN & TEACH

Each facility will provide a unique training and mentorship opportunities, focusing on different aspects of community tennis.

Trainings may include the following curriculums:

Red, Orange and/or Green Ball Play (Youth)

Goal:  to train anyone to teach beginner youth players. Workshops available to showcase relevant activities for Orange & Green ball as well as how to coach, manage, and organize practices. 

Curriculum: Net Generation & best practices

Duration: 2 hours

Love to Learn/Love to Play (Adult)

Goal: to train beginner coaches to teach beginner adult players

Curriculum: Love2Learn/Love2Play; best practices

Duration: 1 hour

Cardio Tennis

Goal: to train experienced & beginner coaches to teach Cardio tennis to adult players

Curriculum: Cardio Tennis

Duration: 2 hours

Middle School/High School Coaching

Goal: to train anyone to run a middle and/or high school tennis program

Curriculum: Net Generation School Team Tennis Curriculum

Duration: 2 hours

Love Serving Autism (Adaptive)

Goal: to train experience & beginner coaches to teach the LSA curriculum

Curriculum: LSA Curriculum

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours

Wheelchair Tennis

Goal: to train experienced & beginner coaches to teach wheelchair tennis

Curriculum: Net Generation Wheelchair & best practices

Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours
