USTA Florida is hosting a free family festival at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando on April 28, 2018 from 10 a.m.-noon.
The event is open to the public, with activities for adults and kids such as a family zone with games, face painting, music, snacks, Cardio Tennis for those who like a more intense calorie-burn with their tennis, intermediate level play, round robin and more.
Information about available programs for the family will be available on site including youth programs, adult beginner clinics, the new ‘Love to Play Tennis’ program designed to ease progression from beginner programs to socialized play, and information on round robin and league play.
“We are excited to have this family event at Lake Cane Tennis Center,” says Director of MG Tennis and Lake Cane Tennis Center Marcelo Gouts. “Join us with the whole family for on and off court fun.”
Lake Cane Tennis Center is a partner facility for USTA Florida’s Hispanic Outreach Initiative ‘Tenis para Todos’ (Tennis for Everyone) since 2013, intended to increase the participation of the Hispanic community in tennis.
Tennis equipment will be available for use during the event for those who do not own a racquet.
