Tonight Celebrate World Tennis Day Watching BNP Paribas Showdown

The BNP Paribas Showdown will stream live beginning at 7 p.m. tonight on ESPN3, celebrating World Tennis Day from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 10th anniversary of the event will feature an all-star line-up of Andy Roddick, Jack Sock, Lleyton Hewitt, Nick Kyrgios, Venus Williams, Juan Martin del Potro, Garbine Muguruza, and Kei Nishikori.

“It has been a challenging but extremely exciting and rewarding exercise to bring all these players together,” said Jerry Solomon, president of GF Sports. “It is a night that promises to be fun and entertainment and that’s exactly what tennis should be all about.”

World Tennis Day is part of the USTA’s annual effort to get more children into the game by showcasing the lifelong benefits of the sport. The Showdown will raise money for the USTA Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the USTA and the official charity of the event for the fourth consecutive year.

The BNP Paribas Showdown will stream live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app, also live internationally on WOWOW and Fox Sports Asia, and will be shown on tape delay Tuesday, March 7 on ESPN2.
