Take Advantage of Free USTA Blended Lines on Your Courts Until Oct. 31

General News Schools Youth Tennis News

The USTA national body has launched a new blended lines initiative through Oct. 31, 2016, where facilities will have the opportunity to install blended lines on courts, paved areas, blacktops, playgrounds or gymnasiums, and be reimbursed for 100 percent of the cost.

Painting permanent 36′ and 60′ tennis lines is a great way to make court sizes kid-friendly for children age 10 and under, and also for beginning players and senior players with limited movement to better enjoy the game of a lifetime.

The submission of the online Facility Assistance Form will initiate the USTA assistance process for all seeking technical services from the USTA. In addition to blended lines, technical assistance can be in the form of preparation of conceptual plans, technical reviews of facility design documents, advocacy consultation or addressing specific planning and design issues related to a new or existing tennis center.
