Play Tennis Gainesville will offer spring break camps in March 2020 to juniors and adults who want to improve their game or learn the fundamentals of tennis.

“We would like to build on the success of our holiday and summer camp offerings at Play Tennis Gainesville with these spring break tennis camps for juniors and adults,” said Frank Swope, USTA Florida Director of Tennis Management. “The Gainesville community has been supportive of these special camps during the past year, and we hope to have even more participation this spring.”

The camps will be beneficial for players of all skill levels. Each day will be broken down into drills that focus on a specific tennis stroke or strategy which participants will then use in a variety of tennis games.

“We hope these camps will help participants grow as players, improve their tennis game and give them new skills to apply to the sport in the future,” said Instructor Travis Tressler. “Most importantly, we hope our camp participants will enjoy themselves during the week and have fun.”

The five-day spring break camps will be held March 23-27 at the Joyce Oransky Tennis Center in Westside Park.
