Mark your calendars – USTA Florida invites you to bring your “peeps” and “hop” over to the USTA National Campus in Orlando for an afternoon of free family tennis fun during the Spring Family Festival on Apr. 11, 2020.

The family-themed play day, a collaborative effort between USTA Florida and the USTA, is a chance for the whole family to get out on the court for a fun start to Easter weekend. USTA Florida takes pride in promoting family play and the bonding experiences it brings to families both on and off the court. These events function as a way to introduce tennis to new participants in a format where an entire family can learn the sport together – mom, dad, children, grandparents – and have fun while playing.

The Spring Family Festival will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m and is open to families and individuals of all ages and abilities within the Orlando community. The free event will feature a wide range of activities including:

  • Family tennis play
  • Cardio tennis
  • Wheelchair and Adaptive tennis
  • Game court
  • Crafts
  • Face painting
  • Photo booth
  • Raffle prizes, featuring free tennis play
  • Easter Bunny visits

Tennis play and games will be led by the USTA National Campus tennis staff. Racquets and equipment will be available at a limited supply on a first-come, first-serve basis. Families will have the opportunity to meet the tennis pros and learn more about program offerings available. Space is limited for this event.

This event will be held in conjunction with the Florida Cup Spring Wheelchair Team Tournament; a one-day, gender blind, non-ranking team format tournament for wheelchair players.
