Serena, Sock Lead All-Star Line-Up Set for Miami Tennis Fundraiser in March

General News

Some of the biggest names in tennis will turn out to raise funds for youth tennis programming when the 8th Annual Miami All Star Tennis for Charity event is held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne.

U.S. women’s No. 1 Serena Williams and men’s No. 1 Jack Sock headline the player roster, joined by legends and hall of famers Cliff Drysdale, Darren Cahill and Chris Evert, who will share court time and commentary throughout the event and round robin play. Players can compete in a Round Robin Pro Am Tournament, or watch the action courtside or from VIP seats.

Two winners from the Round Robin Pro Am Tournament will earn the chance to play with and against the stars in the All-Star Exhibition on stadium court.

The event proceeds will benefit First Serve Miami, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to develop, organize, and conduct life skills and academic development programs through tennis to youth from economically- and socially-challenged Miami-Dade communities. Since 1974 more than 50,000 youngsters have had the opportunity to learn tennis and valuable life skills by participating in free, affordable First Serve Miami programs.
