community tennis workshop“Growing Healthy Communities Through Tennis” will be the theme when USTA Florida and the Tampa tennis community hosts a Tennis Community Workshop on June 25, 2016 from 8:45 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Hillsborough Community College — Dale Mabry Campus in Tampa.

Learn from experts how you can partner with USTA Florida to make your community healthy and strong. The workshop is ideal for anyone working with schools, municipalities, private residential communities and public venues, and working to create a more sustainable community through tennis.

Parks and recreation directors and staff can learn about additional funding sources for programs, partnering with providers, growing participation and working with tennis professionals. USPTA and PTR teaching pros can earn continuing education credits, and learn how to increase participation with USTA Florida programs and resources.

Participants can also learn how to expand their reach through digital marketing and communications, engaging the adult players of the future.

The first 50 participants to register and attend will receive a free padfolio. USTA Members who attend receive a free garment bag (must include a current, valid member number when you register).
