USTA Florida and the Delray Beach Open have teamed up to host the family-themed play day that will feature family-play courts, kids-play courts, and play for all levels and ages during the ATP World Tour event at the Delray Beach Tennis Center. Activities for the entire family kick-off at 12:30pm, and we invite all participants to join our Family Challenge — all abilities, ages and levels are welcome.
Powered by Net Generation, the USTA youth brand, the Feb. 16 schedule will be:
12:00 p.m. — Check-In Opens
12:30 p.m. — Family Play activities for ALL ages and abilities
2:00 p.m. — Family Doubles Challenge (sign-up at the event to play)
3:00 p.m. — Love Serving Autism family play
4:00 p.m. — Play concludes
All participants must pre-register, and the first 200 participants to register and check-in for the event will receive a Net Generation t-shirt. Families who register by Feb. 14 get a special deal on a family four-pack of tickets (two adults and two youth). Individual youth and adult tickets are also available anytime through Feb. 15.
All proceeds from the event go directly to the USTA Florida Section Foundation, the giving arm of USTA Florida. Since 2010, the USTA Florida Section Foundation has had a community impact of more than $1,440,000 through equipment and financial support for community tennis programs serving people of all ages and abilities throughout Florida. The Foundation offers funding through grants to youth tennis programs, adaptive tennis programs for those with special needs, community tennis programs in economically challenged areas, along with facility assistance in the renovation, refurbishment, and building of quality public tennis facilities.
