Players Battle for Golden Tickets at Cocoa Beach NTRP Regional Qualifier

The Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach, a USTA Florida-managed facility, hosted the Level 7: 18+ NTRP Regional Qualifier Quest for the Golden Ticket, and the competition did not disappoint.  

Across four divisions of round-robin play, players delivered exciting and hard-fought matches throughout the weekend as they battled for their shot at a guaranteed spot at sectionals. 

Each division champion punched their golden ticket, while finalists are invited to sign up for sectionals on a first-come, first-served basis depending on draw sizes. Congratulations to all the competitors on a great weekend of tennis. You can view the full breakdown below. 

Championship Results:  

NTRP 3.0 Men’s 18 & Over 

Results: Frederick Ramie finished in first place of the round robin with a record of 4-0. Nicolas Cubides finished second place with a record of 3-1. 

NTRP 3.5 Men’s 18 & Over 

Results: Ryan Kaupe finished in first place of the round robin with a record of 4-0. Timothy Thein finished second place with a record of 3-1. 

NTRP 4.0 Men’s 18 & Over 

Results: Casey Bourque finished in first place of the round robin with a record of 3-0. Ruben Hernandez finished second place with a record of 2-1. 

NTRP 4.0 Women’s 18 & Over 

Results: Judith Bertan finished in first place of the round robin with a record of 3-0. Samantha Martin finished second place with a record of 2-1.
