Parents and kids are invited to learn more about Orlando-area USTA Florida Junior Team Tennis League opportunities this fall when the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando will play host to the Junior Team Tennis Team-Up event, free to participants on Sept. 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“Kids love playing on teams, and this event is for parents and players to register their teams, and individuals can be put on teams for our upcoming Orlando Junior Team Tennis league in the Fall,” says league coordinator Shelly Licorish. “Parents can also find out how they can volunteer if they wish and be supportive of their kids throughout the process.”

The first 25 players to register and attend will receive an official US Open player towel. All attendees will automatically be entered in raffles to win gift bags and prize packs including bags, shirts, hats, balls, towels, blankets and USTA memberships.

Lunch will be provided, and the day will include fun on-court games, as well as a short informational session for parents and coaches to learn more about the upcoming season. League administrators will be on hand to answer questions from parents and coaches. Players will be assigned to teams based on ability level, and preferred location for weekly league play.
