Mark Your Calendar for Miami Open Tennis Kids Day

Florida families will get a first look at the all-new Miami Open presented by Itaú on Tuesday when USTA Florida presents Kids Day at the Miami Open, powered by Net Generation. Activities for kids ages 6 through 12 will begin at 9:00am on the Grandstand court.

The event will feature music, giveaways and appearances by professional players. At the conclusion of Kids Day, families will be able to view matches across the grounds. Tickets are just $10, making the experience affordable and accessible for all.

“We are very excited to host Kids Day at the Miami Open this year,” said USTA Florida executive director Laura Bowen. “Net Generation is all about bringing in a new generation of tennis enthusiasts into the game.  We want as many kids as possible to be on court and experience this great new venue from a fan and a player perspective.”

“The Miami Open is pleased to partner with USTA,” said tournament director James Blake. “It’s a pleasure to be in a position to expose youth to the sport of tennis. Our new facilities offer all fans, young and old, an unparalleled entertainment experience.”

The Miami Open features one of the best player fields in tennis, including all-time Grand Slam record holders Roger Federer and Serena Williams. Reigning Australian Open champions and the world’s No. 1-ranked players Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka top one of the strongest ATP and WTA tournament draws of 2019.

The new Miami Open tennis complex at Hard Rock Stadium features a 14,000-seat center court within Hard Rock Stadium, a spacious tennis campus featuring 29 permanent tournament and practice courts, a comfortable spectator oasis that showcases the culture, food, art and entertainment of South Florida, and the largest video board in tennis to catch all the action.
