Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation Accepting Grant Proposals

The Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation is offering Kids on Courts and Kids in Motion Grants is to assist community-based organizations and tennis outreach programs in initiating, expanding, or enhancing their health, fitness or nutrition component of their programs.

The foundation supports more than 2,300 children yearly, providing grants to 15 elementary schools, six middle schools, three after-school centers, and more than 10 organizations.

Eligible applicants are community-based organizations or schools and tennis outreach programs that are non-exclusive.

The expressed priority is on safety and wellness to help children learn and build on lifelong healthy habits that surround the health, fitness and nutrition for children grades K-12. Additionally, the program requires that an applicant propose a program that will address healthy habits, progressive tennis skills, life skills, physical fitness and nutrition for youth.

Average awards range from $1,000-2,000 per grant cycle.
