The Lab Powered by Net Generation will host a free webinar, Connecting Growth & Development in the Tennis World, with Dr. Paul Lubbers and Johnny Parkes on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, from noon-1 p.m.

Dr. Lubbers will talk about the importance of growth and development in the tennis world. Dr. Lubbers and Coach Parkes will then identify key components of the American Development Model (ADM) that should be utilized in training for tennis. 

The Lab is a performance-focused content series powered by Net Generation, where tennis coaches of every level and other tennis providers have the opportunity to learn from the best and each other.

Paul Lubbers, PhD, currently works alongside the Coaching Education and Sport Science departments. Paul’s responsibilities include planning and delivery of the Coaching Education and Continuing Education programs as well as playing a key role in the formulation and implementation of the one-day High Performance Coaching Workshops, which will feature the QST HP curriculum.

Johnny Parkes is currently the Senior Manager of Player ID and Development for USTA Player Development, who oversees the camp structure for 14 and under athletes across the country. Johnny has a strong interest and focus in Athlete Development. He has previously worked with professional players at futures and challenger level as well as running his own tennis academy in New Mexico developing sectional and national standard players.
