Beginner, New-to-leagues Program Launching in Indian River/Martin/St. Lucie Counties for 2018

An exciting program directed toward beginner players and those players with little or no USTA League match experience will be launched in spring 2018.

Coordinating with local tennis facilities, beginner lessons will be combined with mentored, organized league match play at the end of a series of clinics. Mentors will help the new players understand tennis etiquette as well as help them with scoring, line calls, tiebreak procedures and any questions they may have in efforts to harbor a positive match play environment, experience, and to foster great sportsmanship.

These players will also receive instruction on using TennisLink and its many features.

Individuals and tennis directors interested in this spring 2018 initiative should e-mail Jessica Agee-Bradshaw at ageebradshaw@ustaflorida.com.
