Join USTA Florida and the Ted Lucas Foundation in Miami Gardens for a free Family Day featuring on- and off-court activities for adults and children of all ages on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Buccaneer Park.
This event is intended for the whole family to be on the court — mom, dad, grandparents, children, etc., and no tennis ability is needed. The first 100 participants who register and attend the event will receive a t-shirt, water bottle and be entered to win a US Open bag, two junior racquets and lots of other tennis goodies (must be present to win).
Schedule:
- 9:30 a.m. — Check-in begins
- 10 a.m. — On-court tennis activities
- 11:30 a.m. — Summer camp certificates and award presentation
- Noon — Lunch
- 1-2 p.m. — Families enjoy park, music and water park
Buccaneer Park is located at 3100 NW 207 St. in Miami Gardens, Fla.
The Ted Lucas Foundation was founded in 2009 as a non-profit charitable organization by music executive Ted Lucas.
