Park Optimists Miami Tournament to Fight Parkinson’s Disease

April 25 @ 7:41 pm EST

|Recurring Event (See all)

This is a round-robin doubles tennis tournament for men and women.  It is a charity event to raise money for The National Parkinson Foundation and for Park Optimists Miami, the largest support group in Florida, and maybe the USA. All funds will go to the National Parkinson Foundation, which will partly be used for research and partly for Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Yoga and Art Therapy for the members of the Park Optimists.

We are hoping and expecting to have 50-60 players. The tournament chairman is Joe Glick, the President of Park Optimists Miami. The tournament will be run by Ralph Martens of GT Sports, Kelley Pritchard of Kendalltown Tennis Center and other local pros.

After  the tournament, there will be lunch and a trophy presentation.

Cost: $50.00 (Pre-Register) / $60.00 (Day Of)
