September 13th @ 2:30PM
Based of the information from the National Hurricane Center at the 2:00pm weather advisory, USTA Florida is going to postpone the Level 3 “Bobby Curtis” State Doubles due to the 90% chance of the tropical depression turning into the named storm Humberto.
We have spoken to the tournament host hotels and they are giving players until 6:00pm on September 13th to cancel with no charge. When calling to cancel mention that you were a registered participant in the Bobby Curtis tennis tournament.
Information about possible rescheduling will be posted September 23, 2019 on the tournament home page in TennisLink as well as here on this event listing.
The USTA Florida “Bobby Curtis” Junior State Championships is the most competitive USTA Section junior championships in the U.S., spawning the most players of any USTA Section to go on to the professional circuit and rank No. 1 in the world.
