Deadline This Week for ATP Delray Beach ‘Survivor’ Pre-Qualifying

Wednesday, Nov. 14 is the deadline for players to sign-up for the ATP Delray Beach “Survivor” pre-qualifying event which will see a player awarded a wild card entry into Delray Beach Open’s official qualifying tournament on Feb. 16-17, 2019.

The pre-qualifying event will be held on Nov. 17-20.

The Delray Beach Open “Survivor” tournament is an official USTA Florida-sanctioned Men’s Open event annually attracting local club players and club pros, college players, nationally-ranked juniors and even ranked ATP professionals. Early rounds will be played at Pro World Tennis Academy (651 Egret Circle, Delray Beach), with semifinal and final matches at the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center (201 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach).

All participants receive two complimentary tickets to one session of the 2019 Delray Beach Open and a 20 percent discount on individual tickets (much be purchased by Dec. 31, 2018).

“With the Delray Beach Open’s continued commitment to giving those in the local community opportunities, we are excited to once again announce that we will be holding the ‘Survivor’ event allowing the best local tennis talent to compete for an opportunity to play with the world’s best professional tennis players,” said Tournament Director Mark Baron.

The 10-day 2019 Delray Beach Open will begin with an ATP Champions Tour team event over President’s Day weekend (Friday, Feb. 15-Sunday, Feb. 17), and continue with the ATP World Tour singles and doubles draws starting on Monday, Feb. 18, and conclude with the ATP World Tour finals on Sunday, Feb. 24.
