Estela grew up playing tennis in Sao Paulo city, played tournaments in South America and Spain, and was top junior ranked in Brazil. She moved to the United States to attend Auburn University at Montgomery with a full tennis scholarship. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and reached a NAIA ranking of # 2 in the nation.
Estela is a certified tennis pro and has been teaching tennis to children and adults of all levels for over 20 years. She loves helping young players develop their skills. She still plays competitively and made to the USTA 5.0 level National Championship 3 times, with the last competition played in 2018 in Orlando.
Estela has a son and daughter ages 18 and 16 and coaches the girls high school tennis team where they attend.
Estela enjoys cooking and gardening, reading and watching a good movie when she has time to relax and after someone in the house walks the dog!!
