Cardio tennis has capitalized on the health benefits that tennis can provide by creating a group fitness experience using tennis to drive the aerobic and anaerobic benefits.

Playing tennis for just three hours a week can reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease by 56%. Another long-term study shows that tennis players add 9.7 years to their life over those that tend to sit or lay down most of their day. The benefits of tennis are amazing.

Cardio Tennis is great for everyone regardless of your age or skill.

Many facilities across the state have partnered with Cardio Tennis to offer this class at their courts. While tennis continues to grow, especially in Florida, the program is looking for more instructors so they can keep on expanding.

To help find the next instructors, the Cardio Tennis Instructor Network has been formed to run trainings and teach people how to operate a session. If you are interested in attending or becoming a Cardio Tennis Instructor, you will learn:

  • The sport specific, progressive Cardio Tennis Warm-up
  • Signature Games and Cool Down activities
  • What is a Cardio Blasts, how and when to implement it
  • The agility Ladder and why it is critical to the choreography of the workout
  • Understanding modifications and progressions, plus so much more

The Cardio Tennis Instructor Network needs new trainers to be able to host this great experience.

There are three sessions hosted in Florida set for 2023, with the first one happening on February 11, in Boca Raton Florida. This will take place at The Oaks, from 1-6 P.M. and will cost $75.

The other two sessions will take place in April (Midtown Athletic Club) and October (Fisher Island Club).
