The Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) will be holding it’s annual Randy Rankin Classic golf and tennis scholarship event on two different weekends.

On April 6, the tennis portion of this event will be held at Lakewood Ranch Tennis Center. The event will start at noon and run throughout the afternoon.

The golf portion of this event, hosted by Palm Aire Country Club, will be on April 12. Proceeds of this event benefit the association and the academic scholarships it provides.  This event is in it’s 15th year.

Founded in 1996, ASALH’s mission is to  promote research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about Black life, history and culture.
