4 Florida Players Raise Trophies at PTR Wheelchair Championships

Two Florida singles players and a doubles team were victorious at the PTR Wheelchair Championships, held Sept. 20-23, 2018 on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

The event is part of the UNIQLO Wheelchair Tennis Tour, a ITF Series II Event/Grade A Junior Tournament and a USTA Fall Southern Championship.

The event included divisions for men, women, quads and juniors, from novice to world-ranked players.

Special activities during the four days included a Players Drill Clinic, Welcome Pizza Party, Run/Roll Event, Oceanfront Beach Party, Sports Psychology Presentation by Dr. Bryce Young, and an Instructing Wheelchair Tennis Course.
