2017 Schedule Announced for Florida Super Senior Grand Prix Tennis

Adult Tennis News

super seniorThe Florida Super Senior Grand Prix, the men’s tennis tournament circuit for players age 55-90, will in 2017 feature eight events on Florida’s Southwest coast, in addition to the Florida Cup event featuring East vs. West players.

The circuit begins in January and finishes in March, concluding with the Florida Cup in April.

The West leads the Florida Cup series 10-3 overall, and the East will be looking for its third consecutive win on home clay at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.

“The notable fact about the 2017 circuit is there will be no bye week between the Fort Myers-Naples tournaments, and the Sarasota-St. Pete portion,” says Super Senior Circuit Chairman and Florida Cup Commissioner Mark Taylor. “It will be eight straight weeks of high-quality tennis for senior players to participate in along the West Coast of Florida.”
