USTA Florida Kicks off 2026 with Combo 50 & Over 6.5/7.5/8.5 Sectional Championships

2026 is just a few weeks old, but USTA Florida Adult League Sectionals are already back in session. The Combo 50 & Over 6.5/7.5/8.5 Sectional Championships kicked things off for the 2026 calendar year as teams battled for a spot in the National  

For Combo 50 competition, the combined NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) ratings of each doubles team may not exceed the level in which they are competing, and the NTRP rating difference between members of an individual doubles pair may not exceed 0.5.   

There were five divisions that were taking place and all of them were extremely close, with many of them being decided by just a single line. 

Across the divisions, there were five unique counties that came out with wins, showing the Florida tennis talent is spread throughout the state. Let’s take a look at how each draw played out. 

Combo 50 & Over Results: 

Men’s 6.5 

Results: Alachua County (Joyce Oransky Tennis Center) finished in first place in the round-robin with a record of 3-1. Escambia County (Roger Scott Tennis Center) finished in second place with a record of 3-1.
