Over 30 USTA Florida Adult League Teams Prepare for National Championships
The 2024 USTA Adult League National Championships are just around the corner, and USTA Florida is well-represented with 35 adult league teams earning their spot in the prestigious event. From October 18 to November 10, 2024, these teams will compete against the best in the country in a battle of state pride and tennis fun.
This year’s National Championships will feature 15 events hosted in four cities: Orlando, Florida, San Diego, California, Scottsdale, Arizona. and Surprise, Arizona. Players from across the country will converge at these iconic locations, where teams will showcase their skills, teamwork, and determination on the court.

USTA Florida’s teams have a strong tradition of excellence at Nationals, and last year was no exception. In 2023, the Adult 55 & Over 8.0 Women’s team from Hillsborough County captured the national title, while the Adult 40 & Over 4.5 Men’s team from Miami-Dade County both back-to-back titles. In 2024, more teams will look to cement their status as powerhouses in their divisions.
The USTA League program is the one of the largest recreational leagues and recently, USTA hit 1 million league registrations, a huge milestone! For the Florida teams, making it to the National Championships is the culmination of months of hard work and determination. Now, they’ll face off against the best adult league players from across the country, aiming for the ultimate prize.
As nationals approach, USTA Florida is eager to cheer on all 35 teams as they head to their respective locations. With a strong legacy of competitive play and the momentum of last year’s victories, Florida’s teams are primed for a successful run at the 2024 National Championships.
