Behind every thriving tennis community, there are dedicated volunteers working behind the scenes to grow the game. Whether it’s organizing local leagues. mentoring young players, or building programs from the ground up, these unsung heroes make a lasting difference on and off the court. Now, it’s your chance to make sure they get the recognition they deserve.
The USTA is now accepting nominations for the 2026 35×35 President’s Impact Awards, designed to honor 35 individuals and organizations across the country who have contributed significantly to the growth of tennis over the past two years. The primary focus of the award is to acknowledge grassroots volunteers who have had a positive impact on the game at the national, sectional, and community level.
Whether it’s a coach who has dedicated countless hours to introducing new players to the sport, a volunteer who has helped keep a local program running, or an organization that has expanded access to tennis in underserved communities, the President’s Impact Awards shine a spotlight on the people and groups who make tennis better for everyone.
Those selected will receive a certificate of recognition from USTA President Brian Vahaly and will be invited to the President’s Suite during US Open Fan Week with a guest, providing an unforgettable experience as a thank you for their contributions to the sport.
All nominations will be reviewed by the USTA Awards and Recognition National Committee. Details will be sent directly to those selected, so please make sure you submit a correct email address for your nominee when completing the nomination form.
USTA and Section employees are not eligible for the award, and previous recipients of the Presidential Impact Awards are also not eligible. The award is meant to celebrate new voices and recognize those who have not yet been honored for their impact on the sport.
