History of the Sunshine Series
The Sunshine Series was created to expand competitive opportunities for wheelchair tennis players
across Florida. Over the years, it has grown into a premier adaptive tennis circuit featuring multiple
tournaments across the state. The series brings athletes together from all levels, promotes accessibility
in tennis, and strengthens the adaptive sports community through high-quality, professionally organized
events.
2026 Tournament Schedule
- February 1 – Deerfield Beach Tennis Center
South Florida kicks things off with fast play, big crowds, and elite competition. - February 14 – Fort Walton Tennis Center
Spend Valentine’s Day on court at one of the Panhandle’s top wheelchair-tennis hubs. - March 8 – Roger Scott Tennis Center (Pensacola)
