Originally from Ocala, Florida, Tanner graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications and Media Digital Studies and a minor in Psychology. She has been enthusiastic about tennis since high school and continued to play at FSU for their club team, while also still playing regularly for USTA leagues. After college, she returned to Ocala to work as a realtor and now the coordinator for Marion County’s Junior Team Tennis.
