Originally from Lakeland, Florida, Eleanor “Ellie” Flannery developed a strong foundation in tennis at a young age, training alongside her brother in local clinics. She went on to compete in NCAA Division II tennis at Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina, where she earned recognition as an ITA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete.
During her time at Brevard College, Ellie was an actively engaged student leader, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the college newspaper, President of the History Club, and Manager of the Campus Activities Board. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Pre-Law.
Following her graduation in 2022, Ellie relocated to Tempe, Arizona, where she worked as a Technical Recruiter supporting media and entertainment Fortune 500 companies. She returned to Florida in the summer of 2024, and plans to further her education at UCF in 2027.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Ellie enjoys building LEGO sets, cooking, traveling, and keeping up with her cat, Tokyo.
