Chuck Gill has dedicated his life to tennis, beginning at age 16 when he first strung rackets and assisted with junior lessons. Born in Richmond, Virginia, his journey through the sport has taken him across Tennessee, Puerto Rico, and Vermont before settling in Wellington, Florida, where he now serves as Director of Tennis at the Wellington Tennis Center. His passion for tennis extends far beyond the court. Chuck has served on numerous boards and national committees, always driven by a commitment to growing the game and fostering community. A former president of both USPTA Florida and USPTA, Chuck now serves as President of USTA Florida for the 2025–2026 term. Among his favorite memories are organizing large charity events benefiting the Tim and Tom Gullikson Foundation, reflecting his belief in tennis as a force for good. Off the court, Chuck enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
