Florida’s youngest competitors took over the USTA National Campus from October 3 to 5 for the 2026 Bobby Curtis Doubles Junior State Championships, where partnerships mattered as much as individual talent. Across the 12s and 14s divisions, six titles were decided in boys’, girls’, and mixed doubles.
Unseeded pairs crashed the party, a few familiar names doubled up, and more than one final came down to a deciding tiebreaker. Here is how each division played out.
Mixed doubles was played in short sets, with games to four and a match tiebreak in place of a third set.
Boys’ 12s Doubles

The Boys’ 12s final was a rematch of the singles championship, and it ended the same way.
Top seeds Bence Leber (Delray Beach) and Caique Cavalcanti (Doral) never looked troubled on their way through. They opened with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Federico Sirolli (Rockledge) and Ethan Chen (Melbourne) in the quarterfinals, then handled fourth seeds Santiago Char (Miami) and Reed Barnwell (Naples) 6-1, 6-2 in the semifinals.
Second seeds Noah Lee (Orlando) and Bobby Bryan (Sunny Isles Beach) matched them step for step. Noah and Bobby got past Gerard Carean (Parkland) and Carson Joa (Parkland) 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals before dispatching Gustavo Lipinski (Orlando) and Luke Pehar (Lakeland) 6-0, 6-4 in the semifinals.
The final was the week’s best match. Noah and Bobby struck first, taking the opening set 6-4 and putting the top seeds on the back foot. Bence and Caique answered with a 6-3 second set to force a deciding tiebreaker, and from there neither pair would give an inch. The two teams traded point after point before Bence and Caique finally edged it 11-9 to claim the title. For Caique, it completed a Bobby Curtis double after his singles championship, and for Noah, it was a second runner-up finish of the year.
Results:
Championship: Bence Leber (Delray Beach) / Caique Cavalcanti (Doral) d. Noah Lee (Orlando) / Bobby Bryan (Sunny Isles Beach) 4-6, 6-3, [11-9]
Third/Fourth Place: Gustavo Lipinski (Orlando) / Luke Pehar (Lakeland) d. Santiago Char (Miami) / Reed Barnwell (Naples) Walkover (injury)
Girls’ 12s Doubles

The Girls’ 12s was the week’s great upset story. All four seeded teams were knocked out before the final, and the championship match featured two unseeded pairs.
Savina Somrock (Delray Beach) and Charlize Rearte set the tone early, dismantling fourth seeds Caroline Ranson (St Pete Beach) and Adelyn Mannari (Saint Petersburg) 6-3, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. They saved their best for the semifinals, where top seeds Cayenne Codrey (Naples) and Dominique Mateus (Naples) had looked comfortable after a 6-1, 6-3 quarterfinal win over Palmer Sullivan (Seminole) and Alice Ortiz Tergolina (Pinellas Park). Savina and Charlize gave them nothing, rolling to a 6-2, 6-2 win to reach the final.
Narah Provencher (Apollo Beach) and Vivien Pinteralli made the other half of the draw just as unpredictable. The pair ousted second seeds Vanna Turner (Wellington) and Tamara Korneeva (Wellington) in a quarterfinal that went the distance, winning 6-3, 3-6, [10-8]. They then handled Maia Balarezo (Orlando) and Sophia Smith (Orlando) 6-0, 6-2 in the semifinals, a result that eliminated the team that had already taken out third seeds Angela Xue (Boynton Beach) and Anastasia Denisova (Boynton Beach).
The final belonged to Savina and Charlize. The pair carried their semifinal form straight into the championship match, allowing just two games across the afternoon in a 6-1, 6-1 win to cap a remarkable run through the draw.
Results:
Championship: Savina Somrock (Delray Beach) / Charlize Rearte (Delray Beach) d. Narah Provencher (Apollo Beach) / Vivien Pinteralli (Apollo Beach) 6-1, 6-1
Third/Fourth Place: Maia Balarezo (Orlando) / Sophia Smith (Orlando) d. Cayenne Codrey (Naples) / Dominique Mateus (Naples) 6-3, 6-3
Mixed 12s Doubles

The Mixed 12s produced the week’s most unlikely champions, and two players who could not stop winning.
Eighth seeds Bence Leber (Delray Beach) and Savina Somrock (Delray Beach) knocked off a seeded team in every round. They started by ousting third seeds Bobby Bryan (Sunny Isles Beach) and Vanna Turner (Wellington) 4-2, 5-4 (3) in the quarterfinals, then took out second seeds Angela Xue (Boynton Beach) and Caique Cavalcanti (Doral) 5-4 (9), 5-3 in a semifinal that went down to the wire.
Top seeds Noah Lee (Orlando) and Charlize Rearte (Delray Beach) had been just as impressive getting there. The pair dropped the opening set to sixth seeds Dominique Mateus (Naples) and Temo McAdoo before rallying to win 3-5, 4-1, [7-4] in the quarterfinals, then handled seventh seeds Adelyn Mannari (Saint Petersburg) and Kazan Larin (Palm Harbor) 5-3, 4-1.
The final was all Bence and Savina. The eighth seeds never let the top seeds into the match, taking it 4-0, 4-2 to complete their run through the draw. Both walked away with two titles on the week, Bence having won the Boys’ 12s doubles alongside Caique Cavalcanti and Savina the Girls’ 12s doubles with Charlize Rearte, the very player she beat in this final.
Results:
Championship: Bence Leber (Delray Beach) / Savina Somrock (Delray Beach) d. Noah Lee (Orlando) / Charlize Rearte (Delray Beach) 4-0, 4-2
Third/Fourth Place: Angela Xue (Boynton Beach) / Caique Cavalcanti (Doral) d. Adelyn Mannari (Saint Petersburg) / Kazan Larin (Palm Harbor) 4-1, 4-2
Boys’ 14s Doubles

Second seeds Gabriel Marino (Miami) and Tajesh Reddy Bomma (Wesley Chapel) took the hard road to the Boys’ 14s title and never flinched.
Gabriel and Tajesh opened with a comfortable 6-1, 6-2 win over Brooks Sullivan (Seminole) and Henry Rottgers (Seminole) in the quarterfinals, then found themselves in a dogfight in the semifinals. Jean-Luc Santos (Boca Raton) and Joaquin Zarate (Miami) took the second set to force a decider before Gabriel and Tajesh closed it out 6-3, 3-6, [10-8].
Top seeds Keanu Agbulos (Orlando) and Miguel Valencia (Pinecrest) had an even tougher opening test, surviving a three-set quarterfinal against Jackson Ansbach (Boynton Beach) and Leo Sayag (Boynton Beach) 7-6 (2), 5-7, [10-5]. They cruised from there, handling Michael Ethan Berger (Plantation) and Nicholas Garcia (Hallandale Beach) 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.
The final went the distance. Gabriel and Tajesh took control early with a 6-2 opening set, but Keanu and Miguel refused to fold, clawing through a second-set tiebreaker 7-6 (5) to level the match. In the deciding tiebreaker it was the second seeds who found the separation, pulling away 10-6 to take the championship.
Results:
Championship: Gabriel Marino (Miami) / Tajesh Reddy Bomma (Wesley Chapel) d. Keanu Agbulos (Orlando) / Miguel Valencia (Pinecrest) 6-2, 6-7(5), [10-6]
Third/Fourth Place: Jean-Luc Santos (Boca Raton) / Joaquin Zarate (Miami) d. Michael Ethan Berger (Plantation) / Nicholas Garcia (Hallandale Beach) 6-1, 5-7, [10-6]
Girls’ 14s Doubles

Emma Goth (Boca Raton) completed a Bobby Curtis double, adding the Girls’ 14s doubles crown to the singles title she captured earlier this year.
Partnering second seed Sienna Somrock (Boca Raton), Emma opened with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Yuxiang Zou (Plantation) and Sofia Petruta (Plantation) in the quarterfinals, then handled Hartley Milne (Saint Petersburg) and Mila Rukosuev (Saint Petersburg) 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinals to reach the final without dropping a set.
Delaney Guider (Apollo Beach) and Lauren Chang (Apollo Beach) arrived as the draw’s disruptors. The unseeded pair took out third seeds Ava Pierre (Wesley Chapel) and Vasiana Christopoulos (Wesley Chapel) in a three-set quarterfinal, winning 2-6, 7-5, [10-5]. They followed it with the most emphatic result of the semifinals, overwhelming top seeds Abigail Sewell (North Palm Beach) and Taylor Amberg (Naples) 6-0, 6-2.
The final delivered the drama. Delaney and Lauren struck first with a 6-1 opening set, but Emma and Sienna steadied themselves and answered with a 6-4 second set to force a deciding tiebreaker. Neither pair would blink down the stretch before Emma and Sienna edged it 10-8 to claim the title.
Results:
Championship: Emma Goth (Boca Raton) / Sienna Somrock (Boca Raton) d. Delaney Guider (Apollo Beach) / Lauren Chang (Apollo Beach) 1-6, 6-4, [10-8]

Mixed 14s Doubles

Vasiana Christopoulos turned a near miss into a title in the Mixed 14s.
Seeded seventh with Leo Sayag, Vasiana opened with a three-set quarterfinal against Nolan Oliver Hernandez (Tampa) and Dana Postovaya (Bradenton), winning 4-0, 4-5 (2), [7-5]. The semifinal was another grinder, with second seeds Taylor Amberg (Naples) and Gabriel Marino (Miami) taking the opening set before Vasiana and Leo came through 2-4, 5-4 (8), [7-3].
Top seeds Michael Rybak (Palm Coast) and Sienna Somrock (Boca Raton) looked the steadier side through the draw. They dispatched Juan Martin Vasconez (Lakeland) and Victoria Maldonado Rebagliati (Orlando) 4-1, 4-2 in the quarterfinals, then recovered from a set down to beat sixth seeds Tajesh Reddy Bomma (Wesley Chapel) and Ava Pierre (Wesley Chapel) 3-5, 4-1, [7-0].
The final swung wildly. Vasiana and Leo took the opening set 4-2 before Michael and Sienna shut them out 4-0 in the second to force a match tiebreak. There the seventh seeds held firm, closing it out 10-8 for the title. For Vasiana it was a fitting turn, having finished runner-up in Girls’ 14s singles at the Bobby Curtis earlier this year.
Results:
Championship: Vasiana Christopoulos (Wesley Chapel) / Leo Sayag (Boynton Beach) d. Michael Rybak (Palm Coast) / Sienna Somrock (Boca Raton) 4-2, 0-4, [10-8]
Third/Fourth Place: Tajesh Reddy Bomma (Wesley Chapel) / Ava Pierre (Wesley Chapel) d. Taylor Amberg (Naples) / Gabriel Marino (Miami) 1-4, 4-2, [7-4]
