MIAMI, FLA., SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 – The United States Tennis Association (USTA) today announced that it has awarded a $6,600 Tennis Venue Services grant to the David Ensignia Tennis Academy.
The grant will be used for the addition of live streaming technology supporting eight 78-foot tennis courts at Continental Tennis Center. The academy will install the Save My Play system, the same technology currently used at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, bringing tournament streaming, match analytics, and video-based player development tools to the facility.
The project is in its final planning phase, with installation targeted for completion by mid-October, ahead of the Junior Orange Bowl U.S. Wild Card Series Qualifier at Continental Tennis Center.
Players will be the greatest beneficiaries of the new technology. Once installed, the system will allow them to record and review their matches, share footage with coaches for post-match analysis without additional coaching or filming expenses, revisit lessons as a learning tool, send complete match video to college recruiters without costly production or editing, and track their progress and performance statistics over time.
“Bringing technology to the courts doesn’t just elevate our facility, it transforms the entire player experience,” said David Ensignia.
The USTA’s Tennis Venue Services grant program is designed to enhance existing tennis venues and construct new ones in order to provide increased playing opportunities in communities across the country. The significant funding was made possible by the expansion of the grant program in 2025 in order to meet the increasing demand for tennis courts as tennis participation continues to rise nationwide.
Since 2005, the USTA’s TVS grant program has awarded more than $34 million in TVS grants, including more than $16 million in 2025, which supported nearly 300 projects impacting more than 2,500 courts.
