Turning Bold Moves into Action at the 2026 Florida Tennis Summit

The 2026 Florida Tennis Summit heads to Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando from November 13 to 15. Themed Turning Bold Moves into Action and Advocacy, the three-day event welcomes coaches, play facilitators, providers and volunteers from every corner of Florida.

The Summit is built for the people doing the work on the ground. Coaches, play facilitators and providers make up the core of the room, joined by facility operators, parks and recreation partners and volunteers. It is intentionally small, capped at roughly 250 guests, so the conversations go deep and the connections last beyond the weekend.

Turning Bold Moves into Action

Last year’s inaugural Summit introduced USTA Florida’s Big Bold Moves. This year the focus shifts from strategy to execution.

The 2026 theme, Turning Bold Moves into Action, means every attendee leaves with a clear standard to work toward, the data to guide them and one specific action to take home. Embrace change, be bold, and grow tennis together.

Pick Your Lane

The Three-day event is built around three lanes, each tied directly to a Big Bold Move. Attendees choose the one that fits their role.

  • Best in Class Facilities covers welcoming first visits, everyday upkeep, year-round programming, strong city partnerships and planning for future investment.
  • Best in Class Providers focuses on clear player pathways, continuous learning, safe and welcoming programs, and developing coaches and future leaders.
  • Empowering Volunteers maps the leadership pathway from a first invitation to local project ownership to committee leadership, and includes a first look at the Regional Advocacy Lead pilot.

By the end of the weekend, attendees will be able to measure their facility, program, or volunteer work against a shared standard, use State of Florida Tennis insights to spot growth opportunities in their market, advocate locally for public court investment, and commit to one concrete action with a cohort network to keep the momentum going.

What the Weekend Looks Like

Friday opens with a Vendor and Network Room as well as a tennis social. Saturday runs from the opening general session through the State of Florida Tennis luncheon and Vendor and Network Hour, closing with the Love All Volunteer Awards Celebration. USTA Florida will be honoring three awardees.

  • USTA Florida Excellence in Service Award
  • USTA Florida Public Park of the Year
  • USTA Florida Community Coach of the Year

Sunday wraps with a closing breakfast session, finishing by 10:00 AM. Throughout the weekend, The Sweet Spot vendor and network room gives attendees a chance to meet the companies building Florida tennis, test gear in the Skills Court and fill a Bold Moves Passport for a shot at prizes Saturday night.

Speakers include USTA Florida President Chuck Gill, Executive Director Laura Bowen and President-Elect Marcelo Gouts, with more to be announced.

How to Attend

Most Summit seats are filled by invitation from USTA Florida and its board. Invitees should use the access code in their email to claim a complimentary ticket and add one guest.

A limited number of General Admission tickets are open to anyone who wants to help grow Florida tennis, especially, providers, play facilitators, and coaches. General Admission is $75 and includes every session and every meal. Every ticket dollar goes to the USTA Florida Section Foundation.

More than 150 people attended the inaugural Summit in 2025, and nearly every survey respondent rated it excellent. With a limited release of public tickets this year, seats are expected to go quickly. Register now at ustaflorida.com/tennis-summit or click the button below.
