Volunteer for the 2025 ATA National Championships Tournament!
Founded in 1916, the American Tennis Association (ATA) is the oldest African American sports organization in the U.S. Created to provide Black tennis players a national platform to compete, the ATA has spent over a century championing diversity, inclusion, and opportunity—all rooted in our enduring motto: Sportsmanship, Unity, and Goodwill.
In 2025, we’ll honor this legacy with the 107th ATA National Tournament, a premier celebration of tennis, culture, and community.
We’re calling on passionate, dedicated volunteers to help bring this historic event to life. Whether you’re a tennis fan, a community advocate, or simply looking to give back, there’s a place for you on our team.
Tournament Operations: Volunteers in this role will assist with the smooth operation of the tournament desk. They will help keep the area organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies, including tennis balls, player draws, signage, and awards.
Player Hospitality: This role focuses on creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all tournament participants. Volunteers will help with player check-ins, maintain snack and hydration stations, and fulfill reasonable player requests to ensure a positive experience.
Court Monitors: Court Monitors play a key role in maintaining the flow and integrity of the matches. They will track court availability, ensure schedules are being followed, and encourage sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
