Tennis is better with teammates. Junior Team Tennis brings kids together on coed teams to play, improve, and have a blast, all grouped by age and skill so every match is fun and fair.

Due to severe weather, the JTT Season Championships originally scheduled have been cancelled. We are actively planning a new championship event and will post all details right here as soon as they are confirmed. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to see everyone back on the court.

Kids join coed teams and play singles, doubles, and mixed doubles against other local teams, grouped by age and level. The focus is teamwork, good sportsmanship, and getting better together.

As part of USTA Florida’s ongoing effort to promote sportsmanship with junior tennis programs, Junior Team Tennis players are recognized for demonstrating good sportsmanship and given USTA Florida Sportsmanship pins. USTA Florida is dedicated to not only promoting a solid competitive atmosphere, but is also committed to developing players into respectful adults.

Not at all. Teams are grouped by skill level, so beginners play beginners and everyone gets real match experience. It’s built to be welcoming and fun first.
Junior Team Tennis is for kids roughly 6 to 18, with divisions by age and level so play stays age-appropriate and fair. Younger kids often use lighter balls and smaller courts.
Look for a league near you, or connect with a local coordinator who can point you to a team with openings. If there’s no team nearby, we can help you start one.
Team tennis is about playing on a team in a relaxed, social setting, while tournaments are individual competition with rankings and points. Many kids do both as they grow.
Just comfortable clothes, court shoes, and a racquet, and many programs can help with sizing or loaners to start. No need to invest heavily before you know they love it.
