The 2022 Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) State Championship tournament is set to begin on Monday, April 25 at Red Bug Lake, Sylvan Lake, and Sanlando Park.

Teams like St. Andrew’s Boys and Girls, Doral Academy and Spanish River Girls, and Pine Crest Boys are all looking to repeat as FHSAA Champions. While the likes of St. Petersburg Boys and Girls, Satellite and St. Stephens’s Boys, McKeel and Naples Community School Girls are trying to avenge their second-place finish in 2021.

For St. Andrew’s in 1A, the Boys are looking for their third straight championship, while the Girls are going for their sixth in a row. In 3A, Doral Academy Girls are also trying to secure their fourth consecutive State Championship.

Lake Nona Boys qualified for the FHSAA State Championship in 4A.

Other teams that will be battling it out include Lake Nona, Miami Palmetto, and Jesuit Boys. For the Girls, Vero Beach, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Berkely Prep all look strong ahead of the tournament.

On top of team play, the FHSAA State finals also host individual brackets, where players will face off in singles and doubles. At the time of writing this, the FHSAA hasn’t provided the draw for Boys and Girls.

Classes 1A and 3A will start on April 25, while 2A and 4A players must wait until April 27 to start their chase for the trophy.
