what are social leagues?

Tennis for the fun of it

Social tennis leagues are stress-free, social, and easy to join. Most run as short 4 to 6 week leagues or one-time events, so you get all the fun and friendship of tennis without signing up for months of matches.

There is no complicated rating to figure out and no championship bracket to chase. Just good tennis, good people, and a good time.

ways to play

Pick your format

USTA Florida offers a few flexible options so you can play the way you want.

  • Social leagues. Teams play locally on a set day and time across a short multi-week season.
  • Play events (Team Up). One-time, half-day gatherings, often a relaxed round robin that wraps in a few hours.
  • More casual play. Ask your local facility about drop-in play, cardio tennis, and other social options in your area.

Not sure where to start? Social leagues are for you if you want a short season and low pressure. Traditional USTA Leagues are the move when you want a full competitive season and a path to championships.
