Two Miami-Dade County Teams Capture USTA Adult League National Championships

The 2026 USTA Adult League National Championships are underway, with teams from across the country gathering to battle for national titles. This fall’s competition spans Arizona, Alabama, and Florida, and the Sunshine State is once again well represented. Through the first stretch of play, USTA Florida already has two national champions, both from Miami-Dade County, along with several other top finishes. Here’s a look at how Florida’s teams have fared so far.

Adult 18 & Over 4.0 Men’s Championship – Miami-Dade County

The Miami-Dade County team out of Crandon Park Tennis Center arrived at the Adult 18 & Over 4.0 Men’s National Championship chasing history, and they delivered, capping a dominant 25-1 campaign with a national title.

Miami-Dade powered through pool play with a perfect 4-0 record to earn the top seed out of a deep national field. In the knockout rounds, the squad took down Texas 4-1 in the semifinals before meeting Southern in the final.

The championship came down to the doubles courts. Miami-Dade swept both singles and the top doubles line to lock up the 3-2 win and bring the trophy back to Florida.

“Winning the National Championship after an incredible 25-1 campaign is the result of more than 12 months of hard work, countless obstacles, and an unbreakable bond of friendship within our team,” said Federico Molinarim, Captain of the team. “We kept our eyes on the prize: reaching Nationals and representing USTA Florida in the best way possible. Knowing that Florida hadn’t won the Men’s 4.0 title since 2002, we set out to make history, and sharing this unforgettable journey with my co-captain, Kevin Jeanne dit Fouque, and our amazing team makes it all even more special.”
