There are exciting things happening in USTA Junior Tournaments. The simplified nationwide structure will create a standardized system and greater consistency for our players, parents, coaches, tournament directors and officials. Watch the video and click the button below for more information.
How junior competition is structured by level and age.
Tournament Levels
Junior tennis is organized by level so kids always face fair competition. New players start with relaxed, results-based events, then climb through ranked tournaments as they improve, all grouped by age. Begin close to home and rise at your own pace.
Level 7 (Beginner)
These tournaments are great for the player starting their junior competitive career. Players should have basic match experience and have completed a number of practice matches.

Tournament results earn ranking points that show how your game stacks up and help with seeding. Here’s how it works, so every match means a little more.

General Ranking Facts
Players are awarded ranking points in the 12s through 18s divisions. USTA Florida does not rank players in the 10 and under division.
USTA Florida sanctioned tournaments (Level 3-7)
All tournaments on the USTA National Junior schedule
Results of workshops, exhibitions, or unsanctioned tournaments will not be counted toward the point tabulations.
