USTA Florida is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors that have a wealth of experience, tremendous passion for sharing the love of tennis, and a big heart for helping people across the state of Florida.
The organization is looking for people that want to take the front seat for the board and committee in 2027 and 2028. Below is a step-by-step guide on how the application process works for the Board of Directors.
- The application phase opens February 2 and closes March 1.
- All submissions will be reviewed, and those selected will be contacted for a virtual interview. This will take place between April 1 and April 30.
- Those selected for the USTA Florida Board will move onto a final interview, which takes place in person with the Nominating Committee on June 6 or 7 in Orlando.
- It is important to note that candidates must hold these dates and be available for interviews should they make it to the final round.
- The slate for the board will be published on July 1 with it becoming final on August 18.
- The 2027-2028 USTA Florida Board of Directors will be introduced at the Virtual Annual Meeting of the Membership on December 5, 2026.
