The 2026 Bobby Curtis Doubles Junior State Championships brought Florida’s top juniors back to the USTA National Campus from October 3 to 5, with titles on the line in boys’, girls’, and mixed doubles. In the 16s and 18s divisions, the week produced upsets, three-set thrillers, and a handful of players who walked away with more than one trophy.
Mixed doubles was played in short sets, with games to four and a match tiebreak in place of a third set.
Here is how it all played out.
Boys’ 16s Doubles

Fourth seeds David Bender (Indian Harbour Beach) and Luke Jones (Port Saint Lucie) upset their way to the Boys’ 16s title, knocking off the top seeds along the route.
David and Luke opened with a 6-1, 6-3 win over William Orosz (Orlando) and Hudson Harne (Orlando) in the quarterfinals, then produced the result of the round in the semifinals. Top seeds Lennart Hammargren (Bradenton) and Rafael Pawar (Boca Raton) pushed them to a deciding tiebreaker, but the pair held their nerve to win 6-3, 4-6, [10-7].
Second seeds Krish Ferwani (Orlando) and Nikola Bogojevic (Lake Worth) made the other half of the draw look straightforward. They blitzed Leon Linetski (Redington Shores) and Daniel Chen (Melbourne) 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals, then took out third seeds Sohith Tella (Orlando) and Krish Advani (Bradenton) 6-3, 6-2.
