The 2026 American Tennis Association (ATA) National Championships were held at the USTA National Campus from July 27 to August 2, once again drawing hundreds of athletes from across North America and the Caribbean. The event continued to showcase the remarkable talent and diversity within the tennis community, reaffirming the ATA’s legacy as a foundational force in the sport.
As one of the oldest and most influential tennis organizations in the United States, the ATA has served as a prolific pipeline for some of the greatest players, coaches, and contributors in tennis history. Since the first National Championships in 1917, the tournament has grown from just three events to five major divisions spanning junior, adult, and senior competitions.
USTA Florida proudly highlights the outstanding performances of athletes from the Sunshine State. This year, Florida produced 31 winners and 24 finalists across many divisions that were in play.
For the third consecutive year, USTA Florida served as the Presenting Sponsor of the ATA Awards Gala, held on July 27 in Lake Nona. The Gala honored influential leaders and the trailblazers who continue to shape the game. Beyond the Gala, USTA Florida also partnered with the ATA to host tennis clinics for players of all ages, bringing the week’s celebration of the sport onto the court and into the community.
