Established in the 1980s as Lake Cane Marshall Park, Lake Cane Tennis Center has grown from humble beginnings into a tennis hotspot in the Orlando area. Under the leadership of Marcelo Gouts, the Founder and President of MG Tennis, Lake Cane Tennis Center has become a core part of Florida tennis, welcoming a diverse community of players, coaches, and volunteers. Initially, the center had just four tennis courts and only a handful of tennis players. Over time, Lake Cane has expanded significantly and is now home to 17 courts and has seen hundreds of active players. Today, Lake Cane Tennis Center has more than 30 teams regularly competing in USTA Florida Leagues and 130 people attending programming. The center hosts a wide range of tournaments within a year, offering a competitive place for players to showcase their talents. Beyond its impressive facility and programming, Lake Cane Tennis Center is celebrated for its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Whether players are seeking recreational play or competitive matches, they find a supportive community and top of the line training pros at the center, ensuring a positive tennis experience for all who visit.
