DESCRIPTION:What is the Quest for the Golden Ticket? \nWinners from this tournament will be invited to compete in the Sectional tournament set for early 2025. Winners of the Sectional tournament will receive a Golden Ticket and advance to Nationals!! \n Register Now to play for a chance to win your ticket to Sectionals! \n\nWhen are singles? Saturday September 28\, 2024\nWhen are doubles? Sunday September 29\, 2024\n\nFormat \n\n MATCH FORMAT: Best two of three short sets\, 7pt tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd set.\nGAME FORMAT: First to 4 games wins the set.\nSCORING FORMAT: No-ad scoring will be used. The receiver chooses which side the point is played.\nTIEBREAKER AT 3 GAMES ALL: 7pt tiebreaker to determine the set.\n\nRound robin play will be used in all divisions. \nAll divisions need a minimum of 3 players for singles and 3 teams for doubles in order to be played. Multiple flights may lead to a semifinal or final depending on draw size. Max 8 players per division.\, based on first come first serve.  \nDoubles Players: Your local play coordinator will have a form to link to\, in order to collect doubles information. Both player must sign up and second to sign up links with partner. \nPlease read the below description for Sectional and National Eligibility For all Florida NTRP Regional Qualifiers\, self-rated (S) players may participate\, but MUST achieve a USTA computer (C)\, tournament (T) or appealed (A) rating before being eligible to advance to the Sectional NTRP Qualifier or National NTRP Championships. In the event that a player does not achieve the eligible rating for any reason\, the next eligible player/team will be invited (based on the procedure outlined in Friend at Court). \nIf you are a Self-Rated player\, please work with your USTA Local Play Coordinator to determine a strategy for achieving a rating. \nLearn more about registering.
