DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Region 7 40+ NTRP Qualifier – Quest for the Golden Ticket! \nWhat is the Quest for the Golden Ticket? \nWinners & finalist from this tournament will be invited to compete in the Sectional tournament tenatively set for January 2025. Winners and finalists of the Sectional tournament will receive a Golden Ticket and advance to Nationals tenatively set for April 2025. \nRegister now to play for a chance to win your ticket to Sectionals! \nDiscounts for entering both singles & doubles events on the same weekend. \nWhen are Singles? Saturday\, October 5th\, 2024 \nWhen are Doubles? Sunday\, October 6th\, 2024 \nGuaranteed at least 2 matches! \nFORMAT: \nMATCH FORMAT: Best two of three short sets\, 7 pt tiebreak in lieu of 3rd set.\nGAME FORMAT: First to 4 games wins the set. If set is 3-3\, play a 7 point tiebreak\nSCORING FORMAT: No-ad scoring will be used. The receiver chooses which side the point is played.\nTIEBREAKER AT # GAMES ALL:\nSet-Tiebreaker:\nFirst to 7 points by 2 coman Style. \n3rd Set Tiebreaker First to 7 by 2 coman style. \nRound robin play will be used in all divisions. All divisions need a minimum of 3 players for singles and 3 teams for doubles in order to be played.  Multiple flights may lead to a semifinal or final depending on draw size and may be played the following day for singles. \nPlease read the below description for Secional and National Eligibility:\nFor all Florida NTRP Regional Qualifiers\, self-rated (S) players may participate\, but MUST achieve a USTA computer (C)\, tournament (T) or appealed (A) rating before being eligible to advance to the Sectional NTRP Qualifier or National NTRP Championships.
