DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Region 7 40+ NTRP Qualifier – Quest for the Golden Ticket.  \nWhat is the Quest for the Golden Ticket? \nWinners and finalists from this tournament will be invited to compete in the Sectional tournament\, tentatively set for early 2025.  Winners and finalists of the Sectional tournament will receive a Golden Ticket and advance to Nationals tentatively set for March/April 2025. \nRegister Now to play for a chance to win your ticket to Sectionals!  Draws sizes are limited to 8 so register asap. \nThere is a discount for entering both doubles and singles events on the same weekend. \n· When are Singles? Saturday October 5\, 2024 \n· When are Doubles? Sunday October 6\, 2024 \nMost Divisions are Guaranteed at least 2 matches! \nFormat \nMATCH FORMAT : Best two of three short sets\, 7 pt tiebreaker in lieu of 3rd set.\nGAME FORMAT: First to 4 games wins the set.\nSCORING FORMAT: No-ad scoring will be used. The receiver chooses which side the point is played.\nTIEBREAKER AT 3 GAMES ALL:  \nSet – Tiebreaker: \nFirst to 7 points by 2 coman Style. \n3rd Set Tiebreaker First to 7 by 2 coman style. \nRound robin play will be used in all divisions. All divisions need a minimum of 3 players for singles and 3 teams for doubles in order to be played. Multiple flights may lead to a semifinal or final depending on draw size and may be played the following day for singles. \nPlease read the below description for Sectional and National Eligibility \nFor all Florida NTRP Regional Qualifiers\, self-rated (S) players may participate\, but MUST achieve a USTA computer (C)\, tournament (T) or appealed (A) rating before being eligible to advance to the Sectional NTRP Qualifier or National NTRP Championships.
