USTA Junior Circuit – Temple Terrace Summer Kick Off 10 & Under GREEN BALL
In order to keep everyone safe and healthy during our tournament we are asking the parents and players to follow the rules below. Please be considerate of others around you and wear your mask.
All parents and players:
Must wear a face mask while at the tournament. This includes inside our Facility as well as outdoors in the tennis area. The only exception to this rule is for players who are competing in a match.
- One (1) parent or coach per player, Strictly enforced.
- Must keep social distance of 6 feet from others
- May arrive 30 minutes before scheduled match BUT must leave after match is over
- May not sit, hang out, or congregate at the tournament desk, under the foyer of the tennis building, or inside our facility
- Must bring your own water bottle, ice, and chairs to sit
- If you decide to play consolation, you have no more than 15 minutes after your match to sign up at the tournament desk. You will not be placed in consolation unless you sign up within that time period.
- No Pets Allowed
The Boys and Girls 10 and Under Tournament will be held on ONE (1) day either on Saturday or Sunday. Depending on the size of the draws and the weather the matches will be played on either day. I tend to have the 10’s play on Sunday but will need the option to play on Saturday if we can not play on Sunday for any reason.
This Tournament has no ranking points and for players to get tournament experience. Matches are in a Round Robin Draw. Green Ball will be use on full lenght tennis courts. We do our best to get each player at least 3 round robin matches but not guaranteed. If draws are small then we may combined the boys and girls and have a Co-Ed division.
All players and parents entering this tournament must be able to be available on either day depending on what day we will play the tournament.
This tournament will be held at the Temple Terrace Hard Court Facility located at:
10901 Richlyne Street Temple Terrace, FL. 33617
The Hard Court Facility is 1 mile WEST of the main clay court facility at 6610 Whiteway Drive. Point of reference is the corner of Whiteway Drive and 56th Street. Head east and go one block.
ALL PLAYERS MAY GO DIRECTLY TO THE HARD COURTS TO CHECK IN. NO NEED TO COME TO THE MAIN CLUB.
**Please keep in mind that we may use the clay courts for matches if draws are large.
