Sectional Regulation: Team Eligibility 2.03A(5): The minimum number of team members required at a Sectional championship, who were on the final roster of their local league team at the conclusion of local league play, must be available and eligible to combine and compete. The minimum number of required team members in the Combo 50 & Over is six (6) for all NTRP levels. This requirement cannot be waived. Entry fees will not be refunded to teams that withdraw from any championship after the tournament schedule is first published.
Sectional Regulation: Player Eligibility 8.57: In the Combo Divisions, a player must have played on that same team in a least two (2) matches, with one (1) default to count, during their local league season. A retired match shall count for all players involved.

Team Captain Phone Conference:
Team Captain phone conference call will be scheduled for:
- Tuesday, November 5th at 12 Noon and 7:30 PM (Eastern Time)
The captain may choose which time suits his/her schedule best. A call-in number will be sent to the captain under separate email. The captain or a team representative is required to be on one of the calls.
Team Captain Check-in:
Saturday, November 9th
- USTA National Campus Tournament Desk
- Check In will begin at 7:00 AM
- Captain’s will receive their team packet with line-up cards, raffle tickets, & Championship Guide.
- Only the Team Captains need to check-in at least 45 minutes before their FIRST scheduled match time.
General & Match Play Information
Rain Date (if necessary): Tuesday November 12th, 2019
Tournament Director: Jodi Manning
Scoring: Section Reg 2.03C Scoring, Rest and Suspended Play. All matches played at the USTA Florida Sectional Championships shall be the best of two tiebreak sets with a set tiebreak (using the Coman tiebreak procedure) at 6-all. In the event of split sets, a match tiebreak (using the Coman tiebreak procedure) shall be played in lieu of a third set.
Umpires: There are certified roving umpires present at all championship sites. Roving umpires may be positioned inside the fenced areas and will interfere with play as little as possible. Players are encouraged to play tennis without the need for umpires to be present for matches. In the case of disputed calls and upon the request of the player, a roving umpire may be requested to observe a portion of the match.
Practice Courts: Practice courts are only available from 7:00am to 7:30am Saturday & Sunday: from 7:00am to 8:00am on Monday. In an effort to preserve the Plexicushion court surface, we kindly ask that you stay off the hard courts.
Court Surfaces: Clay
Coaching: No coaching allowed
Trainer: There will be a trainer on-site to assist with athletic injuries.
Awards: Winners and Finalists must report to the tournament desk for award distribution and team pictures following their final match.
